Barco and Excelfore demonstrate an Ethernet Audio-Video Bridging (AVB) Software Stack at InfoComm

Open-platform to drive faster adoption in Professional AVB markets

Kortrijk, Belgium and Fremont California, 18 June 2014 – Barco, a global leader in advanced visualization solutions, and Excelfore an innovative provider of Cloud and interconnect technologies, announced today the development of an Ethernet AVB software stack for Barco’s Video Wall line of products.

Barco, a market leader in video walls, has been working with its technology partner, Excelfore, in developing an AVB software stack for its video wall displays which will be demonstrated at InfoComm and which will go into production later this year.

Licensable software available to drive faster adoption

Excelfore is offering the AVB software stack as an open platform at reasonable licensing terms. The open platform consists of the production-ready software stack for multiple silicon hardware platforms. The offering can also be integrated with Excelfore’s Cloud Appstore platform. Demo at InfoComm 2014

Barco’s demonstration of the AVB software stack for video wall displays, incorporating Excelfore’s Ethernet Audio-Video bridging (AVB) technology, will be publicly showcased for the first time at InfoComm, Avnu Alliance booth # C11350, from 18 to 20 June 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
